Anti Rust PO Bags

Anti rust PO bags are VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitor) polyolefin bags that protect cleaned metal parts without the need for anti-rust oil or grease. The PO film releases a controlled vapor phase inhibitor that condenses into a thin protective molecular film on the metal surface, blocking oxygen and moisture contact and holding rust off for up to 8 months in storage. Because the protection is delivered as vapor rather than as a liquid coating, it reaches into gaps, threads and blind holes that oil would miss or that would need to be washed off later. Sizes run from 10x15cm to 50x60cm, so the bags cover screws, washers and bearings up to larger machined blocks, gears and stampings, and the format follows GB/T 19532-2004 with 36 hours of salt spray protection without rust. Because the parts come out dry, they can be assembled or sold directly without degreasing, which removes a process step from the buyer's workshop and avoids the mess and waste of oiled packing.

The practical advantage of a VCI bag over rust-preventive oil is that the part arrives clean, but only if the inhibitor is evenly distributed across the film and the bag seals tightly enough to keep the vapor inside. Producing the PO film and the VCI treatment in one facility lets us control that distribution, so the 8-month protection period is reliable across reorders. The no-oil workflow also means buyers do not need a separate degreasing or washing station, which is a real saving on assembly lines handling fasteners, bearings or plated parts that must feed straight to the next operation. The 36-hour salt-spray figure gives exporters a defensible baseline for humid or sea-freight conditions, so the same bag can cover both domestic warehousing and outbound shipment without changing packaging.
